With over thirty years of business experience, Mr. Cotton is able to guide his commercial clients towards success.  Having experienced the ups and downs of his own businesses, Vic knows the importance of securing strong financing for your business.  He focuses on the fact that it’s not just about obtaining some financing, but rather securing long term financing that will allow a company to grow to its full potential. Vic Cotton has established a network of commercial lenders that are able to finance even the most complicated financial opportunities. Along with offering financial assistance to businesses Vic Cotton has a network of accounting professionals that are able to assist in the financial and corporate restructuring of any commercial operation in order to reconstruct a financial financing opportunity.

Vic is a former partner of Petland Superstores across Canada from 1995 – 2004.  In that capacity, he launched the Pets For Life Foundation, the Pet Food Bank and hosted a National television show on Global called, “The Pet Guys” from 1996 – 2004. The Pet Guys can be seen on the O.N.E network.  Due to his recognized business successes Vic was a finalist for the Western Canada Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2000 and he was awarded the winner of the Calgary Award for Business in Calgary in 2000, and the Better Business Award of Ethics 2000.

Vic has owned several other companies over the past few years and became a licensed Mortgage Associate 2008 so that he could best advise other businesses owners on how to successfully and efficiently grow, operate and manage their business accordingly.

Constantly being involved in social media news updates Vic as well writes Real Estate articles for the Calgary Herald as well as several community newspapers: Bearspaw Beat, Arbour Lake reflections, Citadel Link, The Dalhousie Digest, Evanston Creekside Current, The Hamptons, The Hawkwood Hawk Eye, The Kincora View, The MacSand Messenger, The Ranchlands Roundup, The Rocky Ridge Suburban Journal, Scenic Review, Sherwood Suburban Journal, The Silver Springs Spirit, Tuscany Sun, Varsity Choice, The Valley Breeze, Signal Hill Suburban Journal, Strathcona Suburban Journal, Cranston Suburban Journal, The Gazette, McKenzie Towne Suburban Journal and The New Brighton Suburban Journal).  In association with news postings and articles on the web and print Vic can also been seen occasionally on Global Television with Leslie Horton on Saturday mornings as he enlightens viewers with regards to the latest Canadian Real Estate market conditions.

Vic hosted “Open Line Real Estate” a one hour open line talk show on AM1060 where he opened up the airwaves to all those interested in learning about Real Estate in Calgary.  He is currently working on another radio open line radio program

In his free time, Vic enjoys spending time with his family and friends, volunteering at community events, camping and the endless challenges his two golden retrievers offer.

Vic Cotton is currently an active member of CAAMP (Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals) and AMBA (Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association.
