Sheldon Deering

Sheldon began his career in Canadian real estate and mortgage industry in 1996 after graduating from the University of Calgary in 1994 with his Bachelor of Commerce, Major in Marketing.

Excited and enthused to be moving forward and be established in the Canadian mortgage industry Sheldon has now founded two mortgage brokerage companies: Pro Link Mortgage Inc.  and now VERICO MyMortgage.ca Inc. (also known as MyMortgage.ca).

Sheldon's vision has come to light with the creation of MyMortgage.ca and thus is ecstatic about this newest company venture. He is constantly and continuously up to date with policy and procedures relating to all aspects of the Canadian mortgage industry ensuring all rules and regulations are being closely adhered to thus providing outstanding efficient service to his clientele projecting and providing a productive environment to successfully operate his Canadian mortgage brokerage.

Sheldon displays superior interpersonal & communication skills and is an extremely self-motivated individual. He has extensive sales and management expertise including: leading a highly successful Canadian mortgage company, recruiting and training sales team(s), managing office staff, introduced rigorous sales training programs for new mortgage associates showing potential within the Canadian mortgage industry, approving Canadian mortgage financing transactions, ensuring prompt and accurate completion of all Canadian mortgage related administration and documentation requirements, as well as ensuring compliance with all Canadian lending policies and administrative processes, basically handling the overall responsibilities of a Canadian mortgage company owner/operator.

In direct relation to Sheldon constantly and continuously keeping up to date with policy and procedures relating to all aspects of the Canadian mortgage industry he is a currently member of AMBA (Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association) and CAAMP (Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals).

Sheldon is a proud father and husband, in his spare time  enjoys relaxing with his family, reading, traveling, boating, wakeboarding and snowboarding.
