Net Worth and Eligible Liquid Assets Requirements

Must have a positive overall net worth (net of all existing liabilities)

At the date of application, demonstrate ownership of eligible liquid assets** of 12, 24 or 36 worth of monthly Principal, Interest and Tax (PIT) payments, based on the 5 year posted interest rate and 25 year amortization, in addition to down payment / equity in property

  • LVR 60.01 - 65%: 36 PIT payments

  • LVR 35.01 - 60%: 24 PIT payments

  • LVR 15.00 - 35%: 12 PIT payments

  • LVR less than 15%: N/A

Statements confirming eligible liquid assets must be issued/dated no earlier than 90 days prior to the application date
